Adult Dog Daycare

While Outrider Dogs doesn’t technically offer adult dog daycare, many owners ask us for a recommendation once their puppy ages out of our Puppy Daycare program at six months. There are a few places in the area that we typically recommend, but none more than Quarry Dog Daycare. Yes, we are admittedly biased since it is owned by the matriarch of the Outrider family, but even still, they run their daycare program exactly the way we would want a daycare program to be run. Smaller groups, more attendants, with a focus on appropriate social interaction as apposed to getting the maximum number of dogs in the door. Adult dog daycare is not suitable for every dog, and it is certainly not an insult to you or your dog if they are not a good fit. There are lots of wonderful dogs in this world who are social in their own way, but just don’t have the temperament for a group play setting.
